Cheers Adi, I appreciate the sentiment. However, were it not for the unbelievable efforts that you and Andy especially have put into this event - despite the heavy work committments you both have - I don't think a match would be taking place at all.

Maybe, if no one objects, I, along with you and Andy, could deliver the proceeds to the Cavendish Centre on behalf of everyone who was involved. It really does not seem right for me to undertake such an honour alone when my input has been so negligible.

How have you been keeping, by the way? I hope things have not transpired that might mean I lose the chance to fish alongside you again at Ravenfield one day.

Many thanks for all your continued hard work. I feel overwhelmed every time I peruse the posts and see how the prize kitty is growing. It leaves me speechless. It certainly will be a fantastic match to be involved in. And at Alderfen, any peg could produce the winner.

Take care mate. Keep getting your lines pulled tight (what about Andy with a 21lber!). Hope to see you soon.

Stu

It has been a team effort, I don't know where Andy gets his time and energy from! Carpy88 has to get a big thanks too for talking to Climax for us.

Re my job, the union has come up with an idea that will hopefully stop any redundancies in the very near future, it depends on the workforce voting the proposal in as it means we take a cut in pay, also it depends on the economy between now and next summer.

We will fish together one way or another mate don't worry about that, I look forward to it!

Soz adi I have been unable to ring you about going to see trakker, it should have been tomorrow but I have had to bring it forward to today. I went and looked at another unit after I left you, a better one at 2800 sq foot, anyway you know what I'm like for getting on with things, I move in tomorrow!

You didn't miss much at trakker, just a wharehouse and the MD going on about my oak gear. Can you belive it the MD of Trakker does not fish ??? It's like a brothle owner not testing the goods ;)

Anyway lads Trakker have helped us out with two armotexx compact 5 hods at £59.99 each and three 12 foot rod sleeves at £17.99 each  ;D

Big thanks to Pete at Trakker
