What we have so far

£25 to spend at Billy Clarkes tackle - Billy clarkes
sundridge two piece suit -Climax tackle
dean macey quiver holdall -Climax tackle
5kg bollies -Stu
tourch and muti tool turned by stu in a camo finish-stu
24hour ticket for alderfen-alderfen
Some carp world mags- carp world {not sure if this ones 100% and how many until the day}

There's a few more bits still to come so I will keep this tread updated as they come. As to what will be for what prize I don't know, we will have to get our heads together. I think climax have been fantastic with their help.

yeh kid in a sweet shop springs to mind. I got to the point that when I went down I took the right money for what I wanted and no credit cards, it's too easy in the place to get carried away.

A few of you all ready know that I buy tackle at wholesale and sell it on, away I emailed my supplier today regarding our match and they have said they will send us some gear out.

I don't at this stage know how much or what but I will keep you upto date.

It just gets better:

Wickersley Angling have agreed to help out, not sure what yet.

Dynamite Baits have agreed to put some of their baits up for prizes, however they have also agreed to provide all anglers with bait to fish the match! I guess that means we are all now sponsored by Dynamite, well who would have thought it!

I've been in hospital for a while, so have not been able to keep up with any posts. I cannot believe the progress you have all made!!  I am speechless!  I never believed, just a few weeks ago, that anywhere near the items donated would be made available.

The match looks set to be superb. Fingers crossed for the weather. I'll do my utmost to be there for the draw at the beginning. I can't wait to see everyone.

Take care, and thank you all for your amazing efforts.

Regards

Stu

Andy if you call into Wickersley Angling he will give you a gift certificate to add to the prizes, I spoke to him this morning.

He made a fortune out of me today so I reminded him about it. :)

One more firm has just come back to me. They said that they get loads of requests and normally say no but with us being on their door step I have been asked to call in. They are also intrested in some of my furniture so I can feel a little bartering coming on  ;)

One brownie point for first person to name a large carp tackle firm on our door step

My God!! Anglers are crazy if they don't enter this charity match. The prize list is phenomenal! I never believed this would be possible.

Once the match has been held and the money collected, how about all those involved in the match - depending upon their work committments - meet up and travel over to the Cavendish Centre together. That way we can arrange for photographs to be taken of anglers handing the money raised over together, and people would get a chance to see the centre for themselves.

If anyone would like to do that please let me know and I can contact the centre to make sure it would be okay to do so and arrange a date. They would also probably arrange for a photographer to be there from a local paper.

Keep it up lads. I'm bloody gobsmacked!!!

Oh, and if I am able depending upon the drugs I am on, I aim to write a match report of the event and submit it to every major angling paper and magazine. I still have a few contacts in the mags, so am hoping there won't be a problem. On the 28th I am calling at the Cavendish centre to collect a large banner to have photos taken against.

Regards and tight lines to you all

Stu
