Well reading that makes me think that we might get some where and I am quite looking forward to it. If the letters have gone out to all members then we should have a good show of support. He is dead right we do really need some more carp anglers on the commitee.

Ravenfield might not have the biggest fish in the area but I am sure with just a little work it could be one of the best. It's not rock hard but also not over easy and you couldn't wish for nicer suroundings. Once you are down in that valley you could be a million miles away from any where yet you are really only a few miles from town.

We really need to get this meeting with martin right and let it be the building blocks to a good relationship with commitee. :)

I really wanted to get down this week end for a session but I am up to my tits in work with dead lines that look like they are going to be missed even as it stands.  >:(

I couldn't agree more. To me, it shows a definite willingness to form a working relationship with the carp anglers to find an acceptable structure between ourselves and the committee that will benefit all concerned.

If we don't turn up in numbers on the 12th then we seriously need a good kick up the arse, as we will have blown any chance that this meeting offers to turn the carp lake around.

So come on lads - be there. It's for our benefit.
