I was offered a permit on Manton last year but I had already paid for the Cemex ticket. I've been in touch with Nevil the owner again this year and he said I should be OK to get on it this year.

Last year it was £247 I think for the old lake. I've got a newsletter type thing somewhere explaining the changes for this year. It's half way to work for me so I will give it a go. Even if I spend a week away from home I thought I could call into this lake on the way back home in the sumer and do a night or even just an evening.

Dont know much about it other than it has cats, big pike and carp in it and it gets very weedy.

Cant find any info on it anywhere though?

The lake Im fishing has been open for years. Im not sure which one you mean, they are messing with another big lake near by. I havent had much time this year myself only been 3 times in 12 months.

IT has been doing 30's like no ones business though. Thing is the weed will be getting up now which will make it harder than ever.

Lol I can't remember which is which now, the 40 is in the smaller lake, the one with all the cats in it. I'm fishing the big lake which I think is the old lake but I'm probably wrong.

When I say Fishing what I mean is should be Fishing. I haven't been for months now, I'm just never at home.

Hopefully that could change soon. I'm going for another job, if I get it I will get a bit more time at home.
