Camp Sites
« on: September 25, 2008, 06:35:37 PM »
Nothing to do with fishing but I know AndyOak has a caravan and I want some advice on any good sites not too far away for a weekend with the kids.

I can't remember which ones you said were OK Andy :)

Caravans :'(

Had a letter from the storage place last weekend. Some kids had broke in the yard and been round 20 vans with an hammer smashing windows, mine was one of them. Now I have it back home with three smashed windows, been quoted £1200 + Vat.

Adi are you not in the CC, thats the best place to find good sites. If you wanted to look at their site before joining let me know and I will give you my log in details so you can view the sites.

Yeah I'm a member Andy, I have been trying to find a site for a weekend towards the end of the month. Trouble is they all seem to get booked up before I have chance to get on one. I was thinking of going to a CL somewhere close.

Sorry to hear about the van :( Did they catch the sods? Mines in storage but its supposed to be gold standard security, I bet that wouldnt stop vandals though. :(
