I know I'm talking to myself here (no change there then) but I did try some on at Wickersley Angling, and one things for sure, Tracker make jackets too small. Or should I say their sizing is all over the place. I can fit into XL and XXL is plenty big enough and sometimes too big. Traker's XXXL is about anyone elses XL if you ask me.

So if you ever order online you have been warned :)

Hi Adi

TFG from Fishtec have some absolutely cracking waterproof boots on offer for £24.99. I have some and they are the best footwear that you can get your hands on for the price.

I don't know your size, but I have a pair of size ten Skeetex boots in mint condition with removable thermal liners just sat doing nothing. I also have a thermal and waterproof all in one suit that I have never worn, and never will wear since my wife bought me one of the Trakker coats you tried on at Wickersley (and yeah, the sizes are very generous).

You are welcome to them if you would like them. Just let me know. The boots have rarely been on my feet and were nearly £70 when I bought them, so they are top quality and would last you a good few years.

Regards

Stu

Well I made a decision, with the possibilty of redundancy I decided to keep my old blue Middy waterproofs. I use the term waterproof loosely!

I went to the local camping shop today and had a chat with the old boy who owns it and came away with some Nikwax washing solution and some wash in waterproofer. I told him waterproofer has never worked for me, he says its becasue I have been using a detergent washing powder to wash my coats.

It looks like it might work too, they also do a waterproofer for fleeces. Ill let you know. If it works I might have just saved myself about £100 and a lot of missery this winter.

Not sure whats happening they need to shed another 60 of us, hoping they wont be compulsory redundancies.

If your a pro do you need to be able to catch em?
