Carpy Beach Casting
« on: April 23, 2010, 08:57:18 PM »
Had a pleasant day out yestarday with Carpy at Pebley. Seeing as how I was sponsoring him for fishing leads I thought I would grab a photo of him casting my lead into the snags.

We did see some fish in the snags there but you couldnt have fished for them. I did see a nice pike in the margins, long but skinny, probably thanks to the comerants eating its food.

That wasnt the best one :) I think that one was with the lighter weight on it. I bet those rods would be good in the hands of somone who knows how to cast properly  ;D

When you going next then?

Are there any fish in Pebley, if the birds are eating all the little fish the big ones should be huge?

Not sure, I saw a huge pike, but it looked skinny, which isnt a good sign. :(
