Spent a pleasant afternoon fishing the Bridge pond, no sign of a carp, but lots of small rudd and roach with the odd perch.

I would think someone who knew what they were doing would have had a good net full.

Thanks chap, the first qust is trying to find a job.

I have applied for a job with the British Antarctic Survey, would be brilliant work, just long time away from home. Wonder if I coud get a killer whale in on a 3 1/4 test curve rod?

You would probably land a blue whale on that rod mate , don't know how you are gonna hair rig plankton though . Maybe the plankton alingner rig would do it

It's not thaty difficult, 1.1 Bayer for the hair, glue on the plankton, or you can buy it in cans ready frozen, through to a 26 Kamasan B511. 3.5 test might be a bit harsh for the Bayer though.
