I was thinking about snag bars today whilst blanking at Ravo.

I cant understand why the manufacturers dons put a soft sleave over the post. Imagine a big fish hitting the line at short distance, the rod bangs into the bar surely it will damage the rod?

get some tubing and put it on as companys would charge you for the privelige

The solar ones are £20 odd too, they do have a hole tapped in them to take the chain off the bobin, which is a nice touch.

there good quality for the money solid joints all thats missing is century or matrix so that must be the £40 difference
