Local rivers till March then I will attempt to catch a perch from the canal until June, However in the meantime i will continue my personal battle with the EA and Manvers canoe club. !
BSC

Keep up the good work , last thing we need are miltant canoeists on the river . Might join you on the canal for some of those perch , my perching has been brought to halt due the pond having a lid on it at the moment .

Next year for me will be ; jan , feb and march on the rivers for perch , pike and hopefully we will get some milder weather for  a barbel . Then I will be fishing a little water where the biggun should be approaching 40lb , then from the glorious 16th I'll be back on the rivers .
I fancy catching a big rudd so will need to find somewhere with those in , I think Alderfen might be the place . Of course in between all that I'll be on Ravo

you getting divorced then pal ;)

Listening to peoples wish list it really would make sense to join Pebly. I know I'm a little biased to the place as I've spent hours on there but I've had success with all species on there when I've just been carping.

I've had carp to 27lb
tench to just under 11lb
bream over 10lb on numerous occasions

and I know of pike over 30lb
perch at 4lb
quite a few roach over 2lb

all for about £80 a year but requires a lot more work than the relatively easy Ravenfield.
