tbh I might keep mine on even if we have moved. That way when we come back up to see famliy I can show my face then bugger off fishing and don't have to be sociable all weekend ;)

Cost wise if I only get a few weekends in it will have been worth the money. Most day ticket venues are 40 quid for the weekend so two weekends would cover the permit, any more and I'm quids in.

having said that the way 2009 has gone I will proberbly end up moving to to canklow or some other nice local area and end up on it all season >:(

Pastures new for me. Want to broaden my angling skills distance castin, marker and spod etc plus try to catch a 30lb. You can only catch what is in front off you.

good luck with the 30 mate , I will be chasing a fish approaching 40 next year on a small lake not far away . Just need to put up with the numpty's that fish there too , small sacrifice I suppose .

Think I will be staying. Didnt make good use of my permit last year, hoping to have a good crack this year. Also the other ponds will now be open wohnt they, so be a chance to have a go at them.
