I can remember as a kid it was black with all foam on top and it smelt really funny one of those smells u never forget  my grandad told me there were fish in it years ago Whod av thought this place would ever have fish in it again?.

Yeh wo talking to a bloke a while ago bout it on the rother valley and up at woodhouse/handswoth area supposed to be ok. Think im gunna av a try for em as never caught one . Gunna try pikein this winter got a spinning rod so avin a walk round pebbly n chance my luck
