You better just hope you dont hook a carp whilst fishing for bream, I hear the carp men on there are up in the trees with sniper rifles, maybe you could take Stuart to return fire?

Dont belive everything that you hear about the place. It's just a big spin set off by the lads down there to try and keep the place to themselfs. At the end of the day if you pays your money you can fish it just the same as the next bloke ;) Just watch out for the monster perch.

You  can forget clumber now till next year I spend a lot of my time there ask andyoak and it does not fish during the colder months. As for a closed shop there are only about 6/8 anglers fish it it's just very hush hush. Has done 4 40s this year to 47lb from the muddy swim.

Carpy , is this another one of those tall stories to keep the lake to yourself? :D I only want to catch the big snotties anyway , a bit bored with carp at the moment . I won't be going until next season if I do go , its gonna be pike and perch for me until spring I think .

Well it all started with a girl call Heather who's always in the car park but I missed her as I got my dates wrong!
