Its Apex pit (Cemex Hykeham), im keen to give it a go, not huge fish, I think a 32 came out last year and there arent many in htere either, Cemex stocked some simmo's. Ticket is only £36 for 3 rods £27 for 2 and you can fish 4 as well come to think of it :) ticket lasts till March I think.

Hard water due to lack of fish, but some 15lb bream in there to and 10lb tench. It was thinking of joining it if I lost my job, as it is cheap big pit fishing, but im tempted to give it a blas anyhow, for £36 what have I got to loose?

i fished it last year with andy. Fished on the railway lake at far side had 2 out in 24hr 17 odd common n 13 odd common ad first double take all on magott :) all the top end was full of weed. There was a bloke who lived on site in a cabin next to the big lake on way in there were alot of rules to follow one wo no walking about after dark(as he shoots n u mite get one) n other was if you leave the complex(shop 4 fags etc) you couldnt come back on which i thought was strange ???. I dont think cmex ran it then though but could be wrong though, also banks wernt very clever were we fished but with that said it was a nice place to fish. took about hour n 15 to get there went down a1 past the scabby pits then up past newark showground then follow your nose to north hykeham.

Ive only lost £36 if i never fish it :)

Waterpig the rules have changed its cemex rules now, they have also stocked some simmo's in there. Apparently some work has been done to the banks and they have made more swims. It has to be worth a go though, lets face it you cant even get a winter ticket at Ravo for 36 quid.

Regarding going off the site and not being able to vome back, the rules say that you can leave to get supplies but if you are going to be more than 90mins you have to vacate the swim.
