Probably, there was a fish skeleton found on the bank last year wasnt there? Also Kieth told me they used to loose a few each year at spawning time.

Thinking about it when chef caught it wasnt it only just 20? Is it possible for a fish to put that much weight on in a few months? Surely it will end up with stretch marks :)

I think the 2 summer captures were after spawning so it was probably down in a weight a bit at the time .

you mean those force fed , tank reared carp that were Toms' pets ?  ;) I've been trying to catch a mythical fish all summer , not had time to fish for carp .
