carp lake record

does anyone know what the lake record fish is? i was down on the lake on tuesday for a few hours and saw a 26lb mirror landed.

i dont know the lad who landed the fish myself but i do know the fish was weighed by a lake regular and on a set of reuben heatons so i wouldnt question the weight

yes the fish was photographed and i hope it gets put on the ravo web site but like i said i dont know the lad, lets just hope he has a word with a lake regular and they can instruct him on how to go about it

I think I once read an interview with Lee Walton (Nutrabaits) in Advanced Carp Fishing , where he spoke a fair bit about his time on Ravo in the '90's . I am pretty certain he mentioned that he had caught a mirror over 27lb called "Shoulders" .
Either way , welldone to  whoever caught his one .

Thats the one I had heard of; shoulders, it has been quiet without you about Hursty, :)

Just got a txt from terry, it was 26lb 12oz apparently this guy (Mark) had 5 fish in 24 hours including 3 20's

hursty didnt you say the 23.2 i had in april was shoulders if so the 5kg of bait ive thrown in every week since is reaping the rewards and maybe if the trend carrys on it might do a 30 next year after the netting in feb  ;D
