just been searching for local carp lakes and sally walshes dam came up. A 38 pound mirror came out not that long ago its on the nash web site. Has anyone got any info on the place?

i haven't fished myself but know someone who has and caught "sally" he always reckoned it was permanently stitched up with full timers who would save there swims for there mates . also heard some of the carp and big cats had been "relocated" , i know where some of them are .

you cant fish for carp unless you get the full ticket £250 nostell priory top lake would be a better option 43lb biggest wakefield ticket £40 but days only  ;)

just turn up and fish, but be warned its a venue thats run by barnsley and it has lots of matches on it. ive fished it twice and only caught the stockies they put in a few years back.
pesonaly i think its a fantastic big carp water thats been ruined by the match angler.
if anyone looks on ncff and searches for sally walshes theres loads of info for you.
