I think your right it will calm down soon as it will be choked with weed! That sorts the men from the boys.

2 rod limit is a way forward though mate.

I agree with with a 2 rod limit too , I think a third rod probably does more harm than good anyway .
As for the time bandits congesting the bank , I cannot see the point of that either . I think the place is perfectly suited to short sessions i.e 24hrs personally I cannot see the reward for investing anymore time . Obviously , this is just a personal thing and not something I am against others doing . Each to their own on that front as we all go fishing for different reasons , even though the main aim is catching carp.
Hopefully , we will get a grip of the weed this year and it won't affect the fishing .

Hi all,
This is my first year at Ravo and i get what you are all saying and totally agree the membership is high at 50.
Thankfully however or i wouldnt be on myself.
The problem is its a club water not a syndicate would leasing the water off the club be the answer?
Increased fees to limmit anglers ?The £87 is very cheap to some other places.
Anyway hope to see some of the regulars soon.
Heres a thought double the fee half the membership by natural wastage.
If 10 drop out next season put up the fees to cover the lost money.
If you see me on the bank you will know its me as you can see i talk for England.
 ;D

membership levels are the same as last year , and we didn't have a problem then . Like I have already said , I feel that the busy banks are due the level of new members and the understandable fact that they want to fish on their new water . Organically , this enthusiasm will falter and the banks will become quieter , reducing future membership numbers will not be the answer . Proposing a hike in ticket prices in order to reduce numbers would be a huge risk for the club , as we know talk is cheap and how many of us would actually pay double next year . Not enough I would bet . As cas vegas says , the ticket is comparatively cheap so we shouldn't be surprised that it gets a bit busy .
