To be honest they have sold too many 50 tickets or the carp lake have been taken. I think there are only about 16 pegs on the lake its ridiculse >:( it has spoilt it for ME i no and every angler has three rods out, say six people thats 18 lines in the water at one time >:(

I thought they always had 50 tickets? It should settle down, but then if the weed is sorted it will be full all season! DOH!!!!!

Spot on Adi , there are always 50 tickets sold . It just looks like there are more new members this year due to others giving up their tickets . As a result they are keen to fish the pond , this will soon calm down . Perhaps a time limit , like those imposed on other syndicates might ease the congestion on the bank i.e 48hr rule ? Personally , I am just fishing somewhere else at the moment until it calms down , not ideal if you have shelled out £87 I know but at least I am fishing I suppose.

50 members for a lake that can cope with no more than 10 anglers is pushing it to say the least.
There is a simple method used by many fisheries and that is to split the 50 members into 2 groups and use a rota system i.e group 1 can fish the lake for the first half of the month and group 2 can fish it for the second half therefor you don't have to wait for more than 2 weeks and you can fish as much as you want during your 2 week period.
There will be people who want to rubbish what I'm saying but this works.

Surely it's better than getting your gear ready then driving to the lake only to find it full, as many of you know the carp in there switch off when there are many lines in the water so a 2 rod limit really should be a must. This coupled with the rota system will improve fishing for everyone.

That dosnt sound a bad idea to be honest carpy i think it will calm down soon like hursty says but it is something worth thinking about though. i dont think it matters to much in the week itll be the weekend more than anything else.

the 48 hour is a must i think!!!! i work 60 hours a week most weeks so can only get at weekends and after work in summer so something needs doing its disheartening to turn up and see the lake stacked will anglers (and i mean anglers in the broadest sense after what i witnessed in th last couple of weeks)it seems carping ettique? is long gone!!! looks like ive wasted another 80 odd quid again this season

At £87 it would not be commercially viable to sell less tickets , for quieter banks the price would have to increase surely . The rota is a good idea which works , however , I feel a lot people would be upset if we effectiveley made their 12 month ticket a 6 month ticket over night after they have only just bought it . I am sure it will calm down soon anyway.
