we were told we needed to keep the noise down and not to cast about too much as the place would switch off. with this in mind we stayed at home for the first 24 hours as not to spook the fish

I a last ditch attempt to catch a yateley carp we have moved our biveys back from the water to keep quiet. Quite a bit back, to Cromwell. It's left us with a bit of a chuck about 120 yardsmiles but hopefully that will do the trick. :-\

Yea yea yea.

To be honest I enjoyed the second 24 hours at Cromwell much more.
This has to be the venue for the next adventure.

I take full responseability for posting the correct dates on here, it's not just my fault EVERYONE read it wrong or is it?  ::)

LMAO! Ouch!

Well its that time of year again when things quieten down for me, possibly too quiet next year if I get finished. Anyhow, I fancy a couple of 24 hours or 36 hour trips somewhere, preferably big, so cromwell is on my list of places to go. Still considering the Cemex ticket for Apex too, although reading their forums it seems that the fish go to sleep in winter.
