Yatley Pads Lake
« on: January 29, 2009, 09:25:16 PM »
Some years ago 7 of us fished the above lake, this can be booked for £125 per 24 hours and is steeped in history with plenty of 30s and loads of 20s. The lake is only about 3 acres and has 10 pegs if I remember right and is as good as Ravo looks wise ( better in my opinion).
If there is enough interest I will check availability to see what dates are free, will be late on in the year as it gets busy. We can have the lake to ourselves for 48 hrs for £250 ( will check this as it was £100 per 24 hrs when I fished but I'm sure I read it's gone up )

Post your name if you are interested then I'll look for some dates.

I've got his first book, the most inspirational book I have ever read.
When I was there last we walked round the carpark lake and it made the hairs on the back of your neck stand up.

Stunning venue.

UPDATE The Pads lake is still £100 per 24 hrs so if we got 8 anglers £25 each covers it.
I have a van which would seat 3 and would get all the tackle you need in so we could do it in 3 vehicles keeping fuel costs to a minimum.

Lake record is currently 38lb+ with the average fish weighing in at over 22lb.
Lake stock is around 100 fish with 60% over 20lb so some good fish to be had.
Baitboats are allowed.

Just looked and November 14th-16th is the first 48hr window that includes a weekend.

It will be from 10:00am Saturday the 14th to 10:am Monday the 16th but i need to know now as it needs booking soon.

Doesnt respond to lots of pressure so i think 6 anglers should do us.

Please let me know ASAP deposits will be required as i will have to pay for it upfront.

Cheers

upto now there's me, liverb8, waterpig, andyoak, the other Carl may go as Adi so we all need to agree a date midweek or weekend.

We also need to hurry up.

By the way I was right first time it is £125 per 24 hours so is £41 ish  each if there is 6 of us.
Cleared it with Andy to use his 4x4 so the rest in my van.
Sorted just need you all to go on cemex website which shows available dates the decide when you want to go.

There is the 14th to the 16th of september free but that is 10am Monday to 10am Wednesday.

Andy cannot go till after May so these are the first dates available.
