The company who I used for webhosting and looking after my servers have decided to give me a weeks notice that they will be quitting the hosting business.

So I have been busy moving things. Hence the site not working properly, until now, I hope

I went to log in while it was down and sussed that what had happened.

How have you hosted it? It's just I have some hosting that I don't use and you could have had it if you like, it's paid up till late in the year and just sat there doing nowt! If you want it let me know and I will email you the login and password.

If you contiune to have to pay why not look at one of those paypal donate wiggets. I did read a story about a bloke that was blogging everyday and put one on his blog, a month later he quit his job

I should see you all down at the lake friday but the clutch has gone in my bus and am fitting it tomorrow so if owt crops up and I don't get it finished in the day it will be hard for me to get down

I neded to host the other site I run and that needed a big databse moving so I'm paying for a dedicated box

Thanks for the offer but I need to have what is called root access to the server, which is pretty rare and very expensive if you can get it. Cant you set up a dodgy website on there with .... no lets not go there.

Anyone other than me going tomorrow to help witht he sleepers?
