I decided to keep a fishing blog in early 2010 after being given the ‘good news’ I would soon be out of work. With jobs being scarce in my line of work I was resigned to the fact that I could be unemployed for a long time.
Every cloud has a silver lining though and this would mean that I could spend more time fishing, whilst ‘actively seeking work’ obviously.
Unfortunately for my carping career I was offered a job 2 months after joining the ranks of other happy signers at the Job Centre. This means I have some money which is nice but it also means that the planned fishing trips have been seriously reduced.
I still intend to keep the blog going though and hopefully I will manage to encourage one of my fishing mates to contribute in the near future.
